Well the US was our only enemie for having no nukes...then France for no nukes...now maybe just the ol ditch diggers Aussies who love to hate us and us them...cos we take their jobs and used to get on the dole(Govt benefit)there....but none really....like you guys....we too noice.....winks....;0) -

Mon, November 28, 2005 - 3:54 PMMy parents live out there for 6 months of each year. They are heading out on Dec 3rd. They live in Russell which is in the Bay of Islands on the north island. I truly hope to make it out there for a visit sometime, but unfortunatley it won't be anytime soon as I am almost 7 months pregnant. Here's hoping for a visit sometime in late 2007!

Mon, November 28, 2005 - 4:30 PMkia ora Maggie...yaya Russell.....that was where we had a holiday house....as kids....what a magikal playground it was for us....fishing....roaming....swimming....rowing....discovering...getting burnt alot....our childhood was absolute shite...but the times we were left to our own devices in Russell were truly special....if only we had the house now...
Dad sold it for like $20,000...now it would be worth over a million.....ah well......enjoy your sweet journey with your babe.....blessings.... -

Two young United States church workers and an elderly Ashburton woman were killed in a high-speed, head-on smash on a usually quiet South Canterbury road last night.
Police believe the white Toyota used by the church workers crossed the centre line while heading to Temuka on the Temuka-Waitohi Road in rural South Canterbury at 5pm yesterday.
Their car smashed into a Nissan heading to Pleasant Point.
The names of the victims have yet to be released.
The Toyota driven by the church workers, believed to be members of the Church of Latter Day Saints and from Nevada, was destroyed by fire after impact and both occupants were burnt beyond recognition.
It is believed the pair were going to a meeting when the crash happened.
The driver of the Toyota was found in the car and the passenger was thrown out.
The car fire also set fire to a roadside gorse hedge and passers-by managed to pull the Nissan clear of the fire.
