I decided I wanted to Wellington and picked Victoria because Massey doesn't seem to cover computer science in their Wellington branch.
Their website looks nice and the only site I could find with college ratings put them near the top in research:

Since then I've been researching, looking into loans, etc. Teri and Sallie Mae don't have Victoria listed as a participating school. I've come across many people who attended Massey, but none who attended Victoria.
Can anyone confirm whether Victoria is in fact a decent school worth going to or should I be looking for alternatives?

Fri, September 16, 2005 - 6:27 PMThat is where I am going Brian. And they are listed on the FAFSA. So it may be worth talking to Sallie Mae about it. They may have not had a US student wanting to get loans to go to that school before. -

I did find it listed for Stafford loans and the Teri international loans. No reply from Sallie Mae yet, but it will take some time to get the Stafford stuff sorted out anyway so there's time. -

Victoria Uni is a great school, but I believe you may want to look at Otago University for computer science. Unis in NZ tend to have specialties. Vic seems to be the place to study law and public policy. Otago has a reputation for the sciences, including computer science (great medical research happening there). And Dunedin is a pretty coolplace - good music scene.
