Re: Parihaka 2007
Wed, January 10, 2007 - 2:05 PMWell Dhantwant and I and her daughter and another friend all went together and we had a great time..the music was shit hot....so impressed with the professonal talents of our kiwis...groovin right on in...
I enjoyed the healing tent and the food area which was real cosy and had a jamming stage there too,so while you ate and sat you could enjoy even more music...
There was a visionary stage with some really good music happening there, but alas one can only be in so many places at once..
There was lots of walking up and down up and down sand dunes...we looked like ants as Dhanwants daughter said..it was true..we did..scrambling all over the place...
I recommend you go next year if you can...and for those overseas make it a must for the utlimate kiwi experience...nowhere do you get so much indigenous culture plonked onto your lap....aroha to you all...
It's an exercise camp rolled into one...;0)
